Ministry Preparation Course Descriptions & Levels:

Christian Ministry Essentials (CME):  This is an entry level course and is required for subsequent levels of ministry preparation through our system. This course provides 32 automated lessons within 5 Courses of Study:
Foundations of Christianity (8 Lessons) with studies on: God the Father, Divinity of Jesus, Holy Spirit, Trinity, Sin, Salvation & Grace, The Church, Baptism, Temptation, God's Will
Survey of the Bible (6 Lessons) overview of the entire 66 books of the Bible.
Study of the Church (4 Lessons) understanding God's original intent for the church and its function in our world.
Biblical Vocations (6 Lessons) with studies on: Biblical vocations described as  Steward, Messenger, Potter, Carpenter, Gardener and Ambassador
Personal Evangelism (8 Lessons) Sharing with others on how to become a Christian, Helpful Scripture verse when witnessing, starting a witnessing conversation, Conveying the Gospel to someone of a different religion.

Christian Ministry Foundations (CMF):  Completion of the CME is a prerequisite for this course.  
Ministerial Experience: is also a prerequisite to enter this course.  You will be required to spend a minimum of 6 months in active Christian Ministry between the completion of the CME and the start of the CMF.  The ministry activity you engage in is at your discretion, but must be approved as acceptable by Phoenix Rising Outreach in order to satisfy this requirement.  We will be in frequent contact with you during this time for encouragement, prayer and updates.
Course Requirements: This series of courses will include a combination of 15 automated lessons within 2 Courses of Study and 10 exam modules requiring appropriately detailed essay answers.
Understanding the Gospel (7 Lessons) five key elements of the Gospel message: God's Demand, Man's Condition, God's Provision, Man's Response, and God's Guarantee. This study will focus on your role as God's messenger in this world.
Practical Living (8 Lessons) topics include offenses, forgiveness, bitterness, depression, purity, prayer, suffering, relationships, and divorce. 
Essay Module Topics: Ministerial Ethics, Christian Leadership, Pastoral Visitation, Holy Communion, Baby Dedications, Marriages, Funerals, Intro to Preaching, Planning a Sermon, Biblical Management Principles.

Christian Ministry Partner (CMP):  Completion of both the CME & CMF are prerequisites for Partnership. 
Acceptance into our Christian Ministry Partnership is by invitation ONLY.
A Partnering Relationship requires your desire to be associated with "Branch of the Lord Church" and enagaged as a ministry member of our expanded outreach "Nation of Christians".
As a ministry partner of "Nation of Christians" you offer a presence of that ministry, representing the Lord Jesus Christ, geographically in the area where you are located and conducting ministry.  Typically this means you will conduct your own independent ministry with the support and encouragement of Branch of the Lord through prayer, education and potential funding.  If selected, your ministry may also be asked to headquarter our "Nation of Christians" ministry within your State.  As a "Nation of Christians" State Leader, we will provide you with an exclusive website to help support the ministry you are conducting in your local area (websites are provided within the US only).

4 STEPS TO ENROLL IN THE MINISTRY PREPARATION COURSE:
  1. Fill out the application, confirm that you agree with our Statement of Beliefs, and answer the brief series of questions.
  2. Upon review and acceptance of your application, you will be sent instructions on how to begin your lessons.
  3. Lessons are automated and consist of an audio lecture and a series of 15 multiple choice questions.
  4. Each level of the Ministry Preparation Course requires the satisfactory completion of the Specified Certificate Lessons and prerequisites above.
