Our Statement of Beliefs

I. We Believe that there is one God, eternally wise and existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
II. We Believe in God the Father, perfect in holiness, infinite in wisdom, and measureless in power. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men, that He hears and answers prayers, and that He saves from sin and death all that come to Him through the Son, Jesus Christ.
III. We Believe in God the Son, Jesus Christ, the divine, eternal and only begotten. We believe that in His earthly life He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary and lived a sinless life. We believe in His vicarious and atoning death for the sins of the world. We believe in His bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension to the right hand of the Father to make intercession for the saints, and in His personal, visible return to the world in power and glory.
IV. We Believe in God the Holy Spirit, in His personality and deity, that He was sent forth from the Father to convict the world of sin, of unrighteousness and of judgment. We believe that He is come to regenerate, indwell, sanctify, instruct and comfort the saints.
V. We Believe that the Bible is God's Holy Word, divinely preserved and is the sole and supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct, and the power of God unto salvation.
VI. We Believe that we are saved solely by grace, through faith in the blood, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and not by our works or deeds.
VII. We Believe we cannot be saved by our works, but that good works are a result of salvation, and no one can do good works apart from Christ. (James 2:17)
VIII. We Believe in the Church --- the living spiritual body of which Jesus Christ is the Head and of which all regenerated persons are members. We believe that the Lord laid upon the Church the task of persuading a lost and sinful world to accept Jesus Christ as Savior and to enthrone Him as Lord and Master in their lives.
IX. We Believe that all Christians are ordained by the Holy Spirit to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
